The A4 team is seeking a dynamic, cheerful, and organized individual to fill the position of receptionist at our main office in Gatineau. As the first point of contact for our clients and partners, this person will be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing general phone calls, and handling some administrative tasks.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, material representatives, suppliers, and partners
  • Provide general support to visitors and the team
  • Answer and direct general phone calls
  • Follow up on emails sent to our general email address
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail
  • Manage and order office supplies
  • Oversee the meeting room reservation calendar and prepare the rooms
  • Maintain the general upkeep of the shared kitchen and coordinate with the cleaning team
  • Run errands for the office (grocery and other purchases)
  • Schedule service calls for the building (as needed)
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required by the team and based on your profile.

Minimum Requirements to Successfully Perform Your Role

  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a car for running errands.
  • Have strong written and spoken French skills.
  • Possess functional English skills to redirect calls.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Have prior experience in a similar position.
  • Be a kind, proactive, autonomous, organized, and sociable individual.
