Nestled in the heart of La Cité, this new room is an invitation to introspection and prayer. Designed to be accessible to all, it can accommodate up to twelve people and includes a space for people with reduced mobility. A central curtain divides the space, modulating the ambience to suit individual needs. Soft lighting combined with pale beige tones create a soothing atmosphere.
For this project, each seating area was designed as an intimate, hushed and peaceful cocoon. An acoustic panel behind each seat encourages silence and concentration. Although there’s plenty of space to sit on the floor, each area includes a bench seat for added comfort. Two ceramic purification zones complete the spiritual experience, one designed to be fully accessible.
At the entrance, an open checkroom provides space for shoes and personal belongings. Everything has been carefully conceived by our designers to encourage meditation, without distraction. The space is adapted to prayer and meditation, in a spirit of respect and calm.
