Completed in 2021, this project was for the development of a new 520 m2 podiatric clinic in a brand new building in Chelsea. With a modern and uncluttered design and a range of contrasting colors, the project included the development of a reception and waiting area, meeting rooms, consultation and medical rooms, specialized spaces including an orthotics laboratory, a patient gait observation room and an x-ray room.
With patient confidentiality and well-being being the main objectives, we made sure to propose spaces that would ensure patient privacy, including the creation of an enclosed receptionist room adjacent to the regular reception area. Since the client had many specific needs, we proposed integrated furniture concepts for several rooms or work areas, including the orthotics lab, the sterilization room and the standing workstations. It was essential that our team had a thorough understanding of the nature of the various specialized equipment included in the design.
In addition to providing design, construction document preparation and site supervision services, we also worked with an independent project manager to ensure quality control and that the project remained on budget and on schedule. This clinic has been very popular since its opening and is a great example of success.
